Loving Your Spouse Annoyances & All
Hey guys meet Andrea Miller! She is CEO of Your Tango, the leading online magazine dedicated to love and relationships. YourTango’s mission is to help women love better and connect more meaningfully as those are key ingredients to being happy and feeling a greater sense of belonging.
"Loving the lovable parts of your partner is easy. He's funny, charming, smart successful, and kind. He's perfect. Except for when he's not. Like when he is late. Or short-tempered. Or impatient etc....It's these proverbial unlovable parts that make loving all of him so tough. but imagine if you could let go of your itch to fix, judge, improve, or control your partner. " that was a quote from Andrea Miller's book, Radical Acceptance - The Secret To Happy Lasting Love. Andrea talks about how in her own relationship it was easy to run when the stuff got tough... or annoying, but that she has since learned that the things that she once saw as annoyances could be accepted and appreciated. Essentially improving and saving her relationship due to this practice she would call, Radical Acceptance. In this episode we talk about what Radical Acceptance means, how we can love without expectations, and some tips on how we can apply this idea of Radical Acceptance into our daily lives.
We were limited on time for the interview so, I highly suggest you check out her book to get all the steps and real life couple examples she uses to prove the points or different ways of working through conflict using Radical Acceptance.
Also as we talked about here is a link to view her Facebook Live videos and stay in the know with all things relationships and love.

Because I know you're awesome like that! And we all know it takes a village. So the more we share the more we can come together, roar together and conquer this thing called life together.
If you are like me, you have hardly anytime to sit down much less READ. I have made it a point this year to read more books. Because we cannot grow without learning. But the mom life makes it almost impossible right? That's where I have found my love for Audible. I can fold laundry, walk the dog, cook dinner or be in the car and listening to a good book. Whether it's a self help or fiction book I can fit my reading time in while doing other things at the same time. Multi-tasking! What moming is all about!
